Bedroom

Zonli Tatami Mats
I’ve used real-deal traditional tatami mats from Japan before, but now I’m using these modular ones instead! In my experience, they’re much easier to lift, move, and clean. They are light but still work and are a nice safeguard for mold prevention. Super easy to clean and maintain, highly reccommend!✨ Use code MEDICINALMINIMALISM10 for 10% off your order!Affiliate link.

Zonli Futon
I was kindly sent Zonli's futon to test out, and I've been loving it. It doesn't get as hot as a more traditional futon, and it's much lighter, which makes folding it up and cleaning so much easier.I'd recommend this one for beginners or anyone who wants a lower-maintenance option. For thickness, I use the 4inch!✨ Use code MEDICINALMINIMALISM10 for 10% off your order!Affiliate link.

Zonli Bed Frame
I was kindly sent Zonli's bed frame to test out, and it has completely changed my floor sleeping routine. This bed frame allows for 24/7 airflow underneath the futon which means your maintenance routine will be so much easier.I'd highly recommend this bed frame for anyone looking to make floor sleeping a lower-maintenance experience.✨Use code MEDICINALMINIMALISM10 for 10% off your order!Affiliate link.
Shop Zonli 🤍
Zonli have tons of products for floor sleeping and floor living. I personally use their classic futon and bed frame. The bed frame has been a game changer for airflow and has made my maintenance routine so much easier!

J-Life Futon
I used this futon from J-Life for the first 7 months of my floor sleeping journey!⚠️ A heads-up: this is a traditional Japanese futon made with layers of cotton, so it's very heavy. Because of that, folding it up and cleaning underneath takes more effort than some other options.I'd recommend this futon for more experienced floor sleepers or anyone who doesn't mind a higher-maintenance cleaning routine. If you're looking for a more traditional floor sleeping experience, this is a great option.
